Answer» Does anyone know a program I can use for an alarm clock, that I can edit, ie. add the song to use etc. besides musicmatch jukebox?KirbyAlarm from the website is a decent cron application, freeware.Any other good ones, that I can use MP3's onWhy not use Kirby Alarm to call your media player to play the mp3? http://www.kirbyalarm.com
Set up an alarm to run a program at the required time and pass the mp3 name to it on the command line.
For example..
- To get winamp to play a playlist. eg "C:\Program Files\Winamp\Winamp.exe" "C:\my music\myplaylist.m3u"
To start the windows media player and get it to start playing a sound file. eg "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" c:\mysound.wma
To start the windows media player and get it to start playing a playlist.. "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" /Playlist myplaylist
To start the windows media player and get it to start playing an audio cd "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" /Device:AudioCD
A real round-about way but SOUNDS good.http://www.dirfile.com/easy_mp3_alarm_clock.htmI use Kirby and it's pretty good. Merlin's post LOOKS promising and easy to set up/use too.Merlin, is there no am/pm on your's? Or can I just not find it?maybe its set to a twenty-four HOUR clock...like 07.00 is the morning time and 19.00 is the evening time... just like pc time?ok...
