Solve : Annoying Firefox Issue?

Answer»

This is a problem that is driving me crazy, my wife makes scrapbooks so she is always saving pictures and web pages on the INTERNET....

Anyway, when she/I tries to save a picture, we RIGHT click and a box comes up asking what you want to do, in this case 'save picture as' or 'save page as' and then after that normally the box comes up asking where you want to save it....
The problem is that the first box asking what you want to do doesnt go away after that like it does in IE or Avant, and alot of times it blocks the box where you WOULD click 'save'....
If this sounds confusing check out the screen shot and you will see what I mean....
Alot of times you have to click all over the screen to get that box to close, this can get VERY annoying when you are trying to save a ton of pictures having to do this, I have searched through the options trying to figure out how to get it to stop doing this, but no luck....

It took me forever to convince my wife to stop using IE and switch to Firefox, and this problem is just driving her back to IE, any suggestions?COULD someone tell me if all Firefox browsers do this?I can tell you that mine doesn't.
Is this Firefox 2? Quote

I can tell you that mine doesn't.
Is this Firefox 2?
Yep, its the lastest version, I even tried reinstalling it and it still does the same thing....Start Firefox in it's Safe Mode (Start --> programs --> Mozilla Firefox --> Mozilla Firefox(Safe Mode)) and try downloading a picture then.
Does it still do the same thing? No, it doesnt do that in Safe Mode, does that tell you something?
Maybe one of the extensions is doing it?That means it's either an extension or a theme, possibly even a plug-in although that's unlikely.
What themes and extensions do you have installed? For extensions we have:
Scrapbook
Tab Mix Plus
Videodownloader
Always remember password
Colorful tabs
Fasterfox
IE tab
image zoom
adblock filter set
Autohide
Calc
download statusbar

themes
firefox default
green fiber
halloween
outlook blue
orange fiber
tinseltown
walnutTry disabling them one at a time and seeing what happens.
When all of them work bar one or two, you'll know what the problem is.
There may also be conflicts between two or more of those, I'll check on that tomorrow for you.
It's getting late in the UK and I have school tomorrow lol.
So hopefully someone else can help you out tonight.
I'll check back tomorrow anyway to see how it's going.
See you around.Thanx Calum, doing what you suggested seemed to work, its all good now.... 8-)
It seems that the 'Orange Fiber 1.02' theme was the add on that was screwing things up...Oh, great.
If there's not an updated version you may just have to uninstall it.
You have a lot of extensions and themes, you may want to consider uninstalling UNNEEDED ones as Firefox can really bog down with lots of add-ons.
