Solve : Artec scanner?

I was GIVEN 2 USED scanners, Artec 1236 USB, and a HP ScanJet 3400c. I do not have the software to download either. Any HELP on how to proceed is appreciated. I am not very technology GIFTED so be easy. ThanksHere is a link to drivers from Artec.

Here is a link to the HP site. Once there select the appropriate operating system you have and any other info it ask and you should be able to download the driver.
