Answer» Hi guys this is a little embarassing to ask, Im in the chatroom trying to help this guy and he has an application that runs every 5 minutes or attempts to run but it doesn't so we were trying to figure out how to rid of it. We tried scanning for spyware 1. Adaware 2. SPYBOT Search and Destroy 3. Spysweeper (weerbroot) We try Virus scanning and its updated and did a scan We also did a registry scan and clean some stuff but it still runs every 5 minutes. We don;t know what the application is because it is not avalible in task manager..... What else can we do to find out what is causing this PROBLEM?If all the scans came up clean then it's probably a legit program. Try downloading 'Autoruns' from http://www.sysinternals.com and see if you can find it. Do you know it's name?
