Greeting,
Can anyone direct me to where I might find the audio driver for an ASUS P4 s533 pc. Tried the ASUS site to no avail.........Thanking you in advance, Hennessy.Did you try using the Asus Navigation Wizard, or finding it MANUALLY?Tried it. This machine is my neighbor's. It was homemade and the model in the selection you REFERRED me to is where I am having the problem. Not sure what the machine model is, hence the difficulty of choosing the right driver.

Quantos: This is a portion of the report from Everest.........I clicked on the sis 7012 Audio device link and the driver available is for a PCI audio card. The machine I'm working on the audio is embedded.

the embedded device attaches on the pci bus...so those drivers should be fine...IMOLet's go back a little. What's the issue? No sound?Broni~Unable to find the proper audio driver for an Asus P4 s533 Mobo.Quote

OK. Here is the latest. Purchased a PCI sound card. Installed the card, inserted the disc and same sh#t. Pardon my language. New warning " new hardware installed but might not work properly" Am I missing something?It may be motherboard problem...
