To RESTORE thses features, you must uninstall client services for netware. Help what this all about and what to do? On your XP machine the Novell Client had disabled the fast user switching feature. This is good because the new user is FORCED to relogin to the server. What to do? Like it says, uninstall the client (no more network for you) or leave it and do without fast switching. I'd do without switching if I were you.
