Answer» I just bought vista ....yes the driver - evil OS I upgraded from XP and now I have no sound driver. I looked inside and it seems to be built in to the motherboard. I have no idea how to resolve this although I have a drivers disc that came with the PC (this is only for XP home edition)

Is it possible to contact the motherboard manufacturer to see if they have developed a Vista driver?
Though you shouldn't have to do this, is it in your budget to buy a sound card you can install in the computer that has Vista drivers?First DOWNLOAD here: http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/category/10/ should do. Your audio - Intel High Definition Audio (Azalia) based on the Realtek ALC880 codec
