hey guys... What is Autorun.exe?? Does anyone know about it??
After typing "What is Autorun.exe" into google, it came back with bout 1,950,000 results (0.40 SECONDS).

http://www.tarma.com/products/autorun/but it also mean trouble, especially if u used thumdrive and always PLUG it in different PC. just like HIV is transfering via needle. autorun.exe also does infect ur system via same method. in most case just like the page above listed, it was to AUTO run any software rather then u double click it or press enter. this including is u put any software CD or DVD and it will autorun itself with pop up windows that let u do the thing u want like install or playing content that have in it. it good invention or code. but bad people use it in wrong way to abuse us the end user.autorun.exe is the name of the program used for some game and software installers as the entry in autorun.inf.
autorun.exe itself has no capacity to automatically run; nor does the system understand or look for autorun.exe; instead it looks for autorun.inf which in the case of software installations that use this method lists autorun.exe as the program to launch.

THe program itself actually differs based on product. My "Need for Speed II SE" CD has an autorun.exe program, and so does  my Visual Studio 98 Disc. The former is actually a flash player program, and the latter is a installshield bootstrapper.
