Answer» Good Day Gentlemen! ...(I use this term in it's loosest possible sense!) lol Sorry about that!
Listen, I use that very excellent piece of software named: AutoRuns. I have noticed that, amongst the programs it designates for deletion are:: 'PDF995' - 'WINRAR' and 'PRIVERZER'. Now these three programs are ALSO good ones and I use them ..as some of you will possibly use them too. The problem is:...why is AutoRuns picking them out is the first instance AND; If I delete the entries in Auto, I lose the programs??? Depends which tab you are viewing in Autoruns...
If it's startup none of those need to be launching on start...
This will not affect the apps at all.Hi there Patio matey!
I just open the program and take things from the tab that covers ALL the titles my friend. The programs mentioned appear in a pink COLOUR as I am scrolling downwards. I normally delete any ITEMS in yellow or pink, however, if I delete the programs mentioned I obviously loose them ..so I just leave them there! I am conscious that AutoRuns has labelled them for a reason and I am concerned with the situation here mate is all??Yes, You can lose the programs. But it really depends on which tab you are viewing in AutoRuns...But I don't want to lose the programs bud, I use them as long as I can my friend??? Pink means the executable is unsigned. Yellow means it is missing. They are not "designated for deletion". They are marked to give information to help you make a decision whether to untick them. And you can safely ignore Ashtons advice above...Thanks here guys! I delete the COLOURED ones because, some time ago now, I was having some trouble on my PC. I solved it by running AutoRuns and finding the culprit coloured in pink. I deleted the OFFENDER and everything was ok from that point. So it has stuck in my mind that "pink" has to go. Following on from that, I reasoned that yellow could no be so good either, so I deleted all these too. I have never had any adverse effects other than losing the programs of course???
