Solve : avast scan?

a scan setting in avst which is at present turned off is scan pup should that be turned on , if so what is it for Exactly where do you see "scan pup"?  I've never seen that in avast!. thank you soybean

Because you did not say exactly where it is, as I requested.  What was the point of the screen capture you posted?  It does not show the OPTION you are talking about.
