Answer» Hello,i hope SOMEONE can HELP me. i have a old computer runing windows 98SE that i use to scan files that i download.i wiped the hard drive and REINSTALLED. Avg7.5 is what i use .now it worked before,but now that i reinstalled it after i reinstalled win98 it will Onley scan in Safe mode. Everytime i try to scan a file is says "Cannot open; not checked". now it does that with any file be it one file or the whole hard drive. i hope someone can help me out because it just dont make any sense. like i said ,it worked before i reinstalled 98. i havent installed ANYTHING new either.lol Reinstall. Try Avast. It works with 98.
