Answer» Sounds like you are trying to use an image you SAW on a website for your background... Unless you saved that image to your hard drive somewhere and instead linked to that website if the image was removed and/or moved it won't work because Windows is looking for something that is no longer there.
But you still need to answer Chris's question whether you are using ACTIVE desktop or not...Rockangel76, Right-click on your desktop background and go to Properties. Click on the Desktop tab. Click on the Customize Desktop button. Click on the Web tab. What do you see listed under Web pages:? If any of the boxes are checked, uncheck them and click OK to CLOSE the windows. Let us know what happens.Yea, sorry about that link. I guess its no longer available since I last posted it Try what CBMatt is sayin, since he knows more than I do.CBMatt only thing under web pages is my home page and it's not checked and it didn't change anything
PATIO my background is a picture that i saved on my COMPUTER from a web siteOpen Regedit and navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System (and) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Delete
the values "Wallpaper" and "WallPaperStyle" in the right-pane.
Close Regedit.exe
