I have a home made dvd that i need to edit can someone tell me a free and simple program to use.

What do you want to be able to do?...Movie maker...?If it's on a DVD, it's more than likely WRITE protected, which MEANS you cannot edit.no not copywrited I have put it from a vcr tape of the kids onto a dvd but want to cut some and put music to it, but not sure what software to use.
