Answer» I have an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe mainboard. I am having trouble accessing the Phoenix AwardBIOS v6.00PC. I KEEP getting the screen that says "Insert Disk press enter or ESC to continue POST". My question: I would like to get the eSupport BIOS upgrade for this BOARD, but I fear that I will not be able to INSTALL it. I am pretty sure that my system is virus free. I can access the CMOS, and I reset to the DEFAULT settings, but I simply cannot get the AwardBIOS screen using the directions in the User Guide. Any help appreciated. I am past my skill/knowledge level.Don't be "pretty sure" about being virus free. Be sure. Do you need the BIOS update? Some people want to update for no other reason than one is available and get problems for no good reason. If so, are you sure that it is the correct BIOS? Have you checked the manufacturer's web site or forum for updates to the MANUAL or others with the same problem and their solutions?
