I have a dell dimension and i just recently had it set to factory settings. I have never reinstalled drivers before, but I used the cds it came with to add a sound driver and 2 video drivers. After restarting the computer i was GIVEN a black screen. I dont know if it was because i installed 2 video drivers and if it was, then how do I fix it? Help plz >.<

What about Safe Mode?
How come did you install TWO video drivers?I didnt know what i was doing as far as INSTALLING the drivers. I thought i had needed them but obviousy didnt >.< . Ive never used safe mode before and im not quite sure how to USE it.Restart computer, and keep tapping F8 key, until this menu appears:



Using up, and down keyboard arrow keys, select Safe Mode, and press Enter. TYVM , that worked well. Ive never had an issue where i needed to use safe mode but now i know

I used safe mode and removed one of the the drivers and it restarted. Works fine now
