Solve : Bootup problem?

Answer»

I'm trying to help a friend with a bootup problem.
PC is built from parts, the processor is AMD, the HD is a seagate.
It ran for several months, MADE a click or two, then started hanging when booting
Will come up in safe mode.
When it is booted up in DUMP log mode then rebooted in safe mode the log shows
that it looping with “Did not load driver Processor”.
After each time the XP OS is reloaded it runs for some time, and then starts to fail the same WAY again. Hard drive has been replaced 3 times. Any ideas. ?? Could this be a power supply problem??
rosss..... Some additional information might assist .

How old is this system ?
How long did it TAKE for these HDs to fail ?
Were they all the same make and model ?

Does it still boot up completely in safe mode ?
Have you tried a differant PSU of sufficient wattage for the system ?

Please try and answer these questions and we can carry on .
