Answer» So I have been looking AROUND and TRYING to find a solution to my problem. None of the answers seem to be working.
I bought my laptop (toshiba m200) while I was living in Korea. Thus, all the cds and dvds that I used to burn were from Korea. Now that I am back in the US, my computer will no longer burn cds or read any cd BURNED in america. It can read all the cds that I burned in Korea still so I am a little confused. It can read dvd movies and music cds, but nothing that is burned.
I had the computer search to make sure the driver is running correctly and is up to date (it is). I checked the region and that is fine.
Does anyone know what else I should do?What application are you BURNING with ? ? Are you finalising the burns ? ?The cds have been burned by different applications.
I have some old photos on a cd. I have cds that are music files burned from a friend's computer. I have cds with pdfs burned from my work. None of them are reading on my computer but ork on othersThen it's probably a burned out read laser in the unit...See i thought about that. However it doesn't make sence because it is only US burned cds it won't read and burn. the cds from korea work fine.
