Solve : C:DRIVE files?

i went into the c:drive to remove a lot of files and rubbish but i cannot remove ( contactcool.cache ) cache files

when i click them it comes up , " windows cannot open and does not recconize them "

but i KNOW they are from contacts on msn

is there a download with which i can open them and a download with which i can delete them

i feel they are taking up space and are not needed

thanks for any helpif you are definitely sure you can delete them WITHOUT causing problems with other places in your computer....

try BOOTING computer to the safe mode and attempt deleting from there. contactcoll.cache (two "L") is Vista Contacts file used by Live MESSENGER/Live Mail
If you use any of those programs, I wouldn't try to delete it.I seriously doubt they take up much space at all...Besides....

If I remember Harry's postings correctly, he's asking for TROUBLE again thank you everyone , yes it is live messenger /msn/live mail , theres about 400 files and i thought they would take up space and to get rid of them

but lets know if you think i should leave them

is there anyway to read whats in them
