Solve : Cache is full?

Answer»

Hi, my problem is when i start my COMPUTER and go into the task manager it tells me how much ram i have and how much is being use by the cache, but as i sit and watch the cache just GOES up and up until my ram is entirly used by cache and i was WONDERING if that was bad or normalWhat Windows version? And how much RAM in that machine?
And how much FREE space on that HDD ?
etc. ?i have windows vista 64 bit and i have 4gb ram and 160 gb hard drive but only 6 gb freeNormal. Sounds like the Vista Superfetch at work to me.Agreed. Vista's way of handling RAM: empty cache = wasted RAMQuote from: Slam799 on November 13, 2008, 05:26:21 PM

This is going to be a problem...you should stay above 24G Free with that hard drive for Windows...especially Vista.according to what u said 24G in C dirve or D drive, i reckon C, amend me if i am WRONG, cheersThe Free space should be 15% of whatever drive/partition Windows is installed to.At least...
