Answer» i have win xp ,intel 2.4ghz,40gb hdd 128ram, can i USE my sonyhandy cam as webcam Check the manual - some cameras can be used as a webcam, most cannot.My Fujifilm digital CAMERA will do that but I don't see it as very practical for extended webcam use due to battery drain on the camera. I believe my Handycam can be used as a webcam, so yours might also be able to. However, we don't know the model number, so we can't give a definite answer. But like soybean says, it's not really a practical solution. I would suggest buying an ACTUAL webcam, which are pretty CHEAP these days. You shouldn't have to pay more than $20, unless you want more features. |
