You need to re install Photoshop from the install media (CD-ROM). You cannot move software like you tried to do.
hi...thanks for that...it was just a long shot as i've lost the disc...

cheersYou can download the trail and enter the cd code if you still have itCould be used to break license agreements.
Yes when you successfully get it over, Please delete it form your old computer.ahh yes- the honour system. Can't find a flaw with that over a inpersonal medium like the internet...Quote from: BC_Programmer on March 27, 2009, 07:20:12 PM

You are right BC_Programmer I have no clue who this guy or gal is so I must not help them even if I have a possible solution.

That is correct. We don't give potential piracy help on C H if we can avoid it. So, Dustinator, maybe you should delete the link? I reported it to the mods just in case you forget to.

Sorry!! my bad!! Thanks for pointing it out!!!Well- I could understand it, except do you know how much Adobe Photoshop costs? Anybody who buys it generally guards their Install CDs like a hawk- and yet-

Regardless, Adobe photoshop installs a LOT of hooks into the shell and windows itself for such things as thumbnails, the only program that knows what entries were created by the installer for sure is the installer itself.

Also, as CR SAID, it's quite easy to download the trial and re-enter the appropriate registration information for their legal copy of Adobe photoshop, and they're back in business.

Copying the Program Files will not copy the program. It will not work on the other computer.
There are dozens of other files throughout the computer related to Photoshop, not to mention hundreds of registry keys.

We cannot help you do what you are wanting to do.I dont think anyone can help him
