i've got foxie fire wall, norton and microsoft antispyware no off them get rid off this lot--------------hacktool.sckeylogger
spyware.apropos.c
adware.BDE
adware.rxtoolbar (x2)
adware.topsearch (x2)
hoping for a free software that will remove them v.low income
reason this is COS strange things keep happening to my computer like everythings stops working, it keeps saying low virtual memory and stops
and sometimes it keeps turning completely off in middle off things
and it sometimes more often restarts its self
and today in morning the screen turned into lots off colour like pictures (scrambled)
so i'm thinking its to do with themTry a-squared from http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/
and Ewido (Free Version) from http://www.ewido.net/en/Low virtual memory is also a sign of not having enough ram.hi yea i have 256mb of ram and a 1.8gb speed and the pages are slow too

2.......When did you do your last full scan with your Norton ?
3.......Is your Norton still current and do you have the latest updates ?
4.......When did you last run M/S antispyware ?

yes i will get another 256mb i'm looking for cheap ones on ebayFraggle..... When you go into safe mode ......... Please turn off your system restore feature ....... Then rescan with Norton ....... and then with Ewido ...... and then with Spybot ........

The unwanted entries should be found and removed ....... BTW which Norton product are you using ?

dl65 dl65... how do i turn off my system restore and my Norton antiVirus 2005Fraggle... To turn off system restore ........ click Start /Control Panel/ System.... then when system properties box opens ...click the system restore tab....... then put a check mark in the box in FRONT of "Turn off system restore on all drives" ....then click apply and ok and exit out ........

To turn off Norton 2005 ...... ( why do you wish to do this ?)
Go down to the norton icon in the lower right corner of your screen ....down by the clock..... right click on its icon and select "Disable auto protect" ...... a red X should appear on the icon ...... now its turned off .......( but remember if your online you have no protection )


dl65 hi... i've done whot you said norton didn't find nothing ewido got rid of a few things and microsoft didn't find nothing except overnet/edonky.
i had it on over night, in the middle of day i went on it again and it jumped to that blue screen sayin' it got a virus on it......... but that blue screen comes on if i have it on for long times and say's things like problem with device or virus
