Answer» My "e" DRIVE reads some CD-ROMs, but won't acknowledge blank discs. When I try to access the drive, it says "E drive inaccessible." Troubleshooting says the device is WORKING properly. Any ideas?What kind of drive is it? CD drive or DVD drive? Also, what discs are you using?It's a CD+ and DVD+ Writer drive. I've tried both DVD-R and CD-R discs.As I recall, you cannot directly write files to a DVD LIKE you can with a CD. You will need a DVD Burning program.
