Answer» I'm unable to connect to the internet from my laptop. I've done all the basic modem-end troubleshooting, checked that my network cards and ADAPTIVE devices are turned on, and reset my IP a few times, but neither wireless nor wired connections seem to be working. I had heard of a Vista update/network driver compatibility issue, through some friends, but I TRUTHFULLY have no clue.
I'm working with a Toshiba Satellite A135, running Windows Vista 32-bit Home Premium (Service Pack 2), with Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection for my wireless, and Realtek RTL8101E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) for hardwired ethernet. (And, no, I'm not trying to use both at the same time XD ) post your ipconfig /all
open command prompt type cd desktop type ipconfig /all > results.txt find the results file on your desktop copy and paste the contents to your next postWindows IP Configuration
