Answer» Hello, I have been looking to update my drivers and I have updated some, but it still shows that I need to update them. Like 'NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430' I just updated that and it says there is another update... I've looked for the other ones but can't find them. Can you Please Help me?
Best Regards, KamcorderFirst off, Don't use any software such as "DriverAgent" as there is absolutely no point in using them and they often cause more problems than they solve.
You should only ever download drives from the manufacturer of the PC/Component so in the case of your chipset you should either get the driver from the manufacturer of the motherboard/PC or NVIDIA.
That said, DriverAgent and other "Driver Scanning" software blow the issue of a driver being out of date way out of proportion. Unless you are experiencing issues with the driver you have at the moment then you may as well stay with it - The old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" applies here.
"Driver Scanning" TOOLS will always make claims as to why out of date drivers are bad.etc purely to sell their software which you should never need to pay for, drivers should be and are always free to download from the manufacturer's website. MORNING Camerongrey.i have just read your ARTICLE on driver updates. And I am glad I did ,I am having trouble with driver/drivers for Samsung phone. (I think ) not to sure still trying to get info. But you have put me at EASE about not installing the the driver update programs that appear.Thanks.
ivanoe.hi, I guess your computer might get attacked by unknown virus or the system goes wrong with that. Not sure whether you have found lost data back or not. Do hope that all your data had not lost yet. Cos I had ever met the same trouble as you and I lost almost all data on my drive since the whole drive is gone. I tried everything I could but nothing got back. Then my friend to me to try some data recovery softwares which can restore lost drive. I did not know whether it can really work or not. but I tried. guess i'm lucky I got data in my drive back. I do not know whether it can help you or not. But if you wanna try you can find it here:http://www.easeus.com/datarecoverywizardpro/ if your system is mac, you can also try:http://www.easeus.com/mac/mac-data-recovery/ Hope it can really help you .Feel free to disregard the above post. I could not find proper Graphics driver for my PC. Here is Screen Shot of my Device Manager. Please Suggest me Proper Driver Softwear
[recovering disk space, attachment deleted by admin]I have browsed your forum but have not seen my problem addressed. I have bought a new Dell Inspiron 660s (64 bit with Windows 7). I want to dual boot it with Windows XP (32 bit) . So I need Windows XP 32 bit drivers for:
Realtek ALC662VD Audio Driver
Realtek RTL8111F Ethernet Controller Driver
Intel HD Graphics Driver
These are onboard components.
They are not available at support.dell.com. And the manufacture's websites use somewhat different names or numbers for the components.
For example, at the Intel website I can find two Intel HD Graphics Driver downloads for Windows XP 32 bit which list the Intel motherbords they apply to. I don't have an Intel motherboard number. Dell made the motherboard mostly with Intel chips and GAVE it their own number. So I don't know what will work, if any.
Realtek also has drivers for Windows XP 32 bit but for ALC662 and not ALC662VD. And for RTL8111 but not RTL8111F.
I'm really lost. Maybe there are not drivers for this Dell hardware that will work.
P.S. I am aware of the SATA driver issue and believe I have the correct driver to use with my USB floppy drive.
Thanks for your insight.
