--I clicked on Universal Serical Bus Controllers - there was no Support listed
--I went to BIOS and Universal was enabled
--Zone Alarm firewall had a MESSAGE, "Printer Device wants to act as server"
--Patio had mentioned about using the wrong port
I'm not familiar with Zone Alarm, maybe it is causing the problems.

One other thing you can try, unplug EVERYTHING from your usb ports except your keyboard and your mouse. Go to Device Manager and expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers. RIGHT CLICK on every "USB Root Hub" and click uninstall. You will receive a warning, just click ok. After uninstalling all of them restart your computer and they will reinstall. Then try plugging your printer back in and see if you get the "Found New Hardware"  Thanks for all your help. I got the printer to work. After installing and uninstalling the driver download for the 20th time, I pressed Update instead of Downloading Driver. That brought up the USB port under Properties (where it didn't exist before). SELECTED USB port and presto - I have a printer that works.
