Answer» Hi, Can anyone please help. SpyFalcon anti-Spyware software has somehow downloaded itself and installed, now I can't delete it. I've 'deleted, it about 7 times ALREADY using the add/remove programs METHOD, which seems to have worked until about 20 mins has passed, then it reappears, does a scan etc then tells me I must purchase to remove found spyware. I'm getting sick of it now and am desperate to get RID of it once and for all. I suspect I have to do something to the registry but due to the fact that I am a complete idiot I am very worried about messing with the registry. Please someone help me! Thanks in advance, Cliff JonesHere is a specialised removal tool.
Good luckcliffj....... Always look carefully before you click on things like that .
dl65 Read the privacy statement and the terms of service. You don't have to read the whole thing, just parts that you need to know such as removal, etc.
Flame Thanks for all your replies and help. I followed Dusty's advice and it seems like SpyFalcon has gone, hope I'm not being too optimistic but can't find any sign so far, even the taskbar pop-up asking me to purchase has gone. Thanks again all, Cliff JonesSounds like you learned a lesson Come BACK and see us if you have any more questions.
FlameCliffJ - thanks for coming back with your news, hopefully your problem is gone.
Advice posted by dl65 & Flame should be followed, there are LOTS of other things out there like SpyFalcon just waiting for the unwary.
Good luck...How I am grateful to FireFox and then Raptor who recommended it...I miss malwares. Firefox is good, but Firefox and Linux is even safer.
