Answer» I have an avi file which cannot been opened by any program I've tried. It gives an unsupported file format error message. It's a VIDEO file recorded by my CCTV. Previously all the similar files were ok and can be opened. Could it be corrupted? Any help?what programs have you tryed? Most likely cause is a damaged file.I've tried Windows Media Player, Winamp, DivX. The file I'm trying to PLAY is 900MB in SIZE. If I try to play a shorter clip, let's say 200MB, it can be played. So I guess there was something gone wrong during the saving process DUE to the clip size.
