Solve : cannot read the attachements in OE?

Hi,
in outlook express I cannot READ the attached files (in all the format:word, pdf, excel etc.). The system display a message "invalid command". My OS is windows XP Pro SWEDISH version.

BenedettoHave you tried Tools>Options>Security and uncheck option Don't allow attachments....?
YES, i did. The option is not selected. Any other suggestion?

Hope this helps.Thank you, i read all but it seems that my problem comes from a conflict, perhaps due to the attachements language is italian and my system is working in swedish (maybe?).

No, it isn't. It is a normal PC, the system is XP Pro SP1. Have I to uppgrade to SP2 ?
