Answer» Ever since my e Machines computer died I took the hard drive and set it as slave on a DELL computer to copy files like music and pictures it got detected and everything but I cant find any of my pictures or music from iTunes and WINDOWS media player. I search folders but always END up in a folder with nothing in it. I unhid the folders by using their properties. but STILL nothing. Is there a way I can recover my stuff from this older drive so I can transfer it to my DELL, any suggestions, anything???Was this in an XP machine ? ? Were you using any file encryption ? ? What OS is in the CURRENT machine ? ? Help us help you.yeah, both are XP machines. I did not use any encryption but it was password protected though.
