IN device manager I have the choice to DISABLE
I have dbl check to make sure both drive are enable in BIOS Booted in Safe mode Booted to Last Know good config. UNinstall both drives in device manager window and rebooted/ restarted also tried a SYSTEM restore.
check to make sure all wires are connected properly and secure This started after IE 8 was installed. Following instructions from MS (mirco soft)I uninstalled IE8 and reinstalled IE7 and rebooted........
Opening MY computer neither Drive is showing to be there. What do i do at this POINT? Neither drive will work.

Unfortunately problems like this arrise when being MS Guinea Pig with BETAs ...They plan on people like you reporting issues to them to fix bugs as part of the Beta program and save them from vigorous testing expenses.
Your registry is likely hosed and STILL has junk from IE8 corrupting IE7. As for MS likely never planned for anyone to downgrade from IE8 to IE7 so its likely a sloppy uninstall with junk left behind.
I'd backup your important data and reinstall Windows clean and wait to install IE8 until the BETA is finished or there is a critical need to have IE8's features. Followed the info you provided and was able to get "one" of the Cd driver to work.
However upon restart only the working CD Driver showed up (TSSTcorp)
Would like to get the other working also, any addiotioner help will be appreciated.Temporarily remove the TSST and repeat...lather, rinse, repeat.Hey Patio,

Not sure if this "made" the difference...... but intsead of restarting As stated above i shut it down, let sit for a few minutes started it back up and it worked......
