Answer» Hi all FRIENDS in this site, i have combo cd & dvd rom in my pc....i want to buy either cd or dvd writer...WOULD you please TELL the DIFFERENCE of two? can dvd rom burn a cd/video? DVD-RW can burn CD's or DVD's. CDRW can only burn CD's. DVD-RW can be had for $40 so no need not to get that. Make sure that the burning software comes with it.
