Answer» I ran chkdsk c: and it checked my C Drive and told me I had a fue prablems.
Then it says USE the /F switch to fix them.
Now the way it fixs BAD sectore is by MARKING them so they wont be used. But if there is Data in them the /R switch will PUT the Data in good secores.
So why does it not say to use /F /R to fix bad sectores and relocate the Data?
Or what am I not getting??As stated in your other post the /r switch assumes /f......
It does both.
So if you use /r you don't need /f.
