Solve : chek disk help?

Answer»

I ran  chkdsk c:
and it checked my C  Drive and told me I had a fue  prablems.

Then it says
USE the  /F  switch  to fix them.

Now the way it fixs  BAD  sectore is by  MARKING them so they wont be used.
But if there is Data in them  the   /R  switch  will  PUT the Data in  good  secores.

So why does it not say to use
/F /R    to fix  bad  sectores  and relocate the Data?

Or what am I not getting??As stated in your other post the /r switch assumes /f......

It does both.

So if you use /r you don't need /f.
