Solve : Chrome…. He’s dead, Jim!? |
|
Answer» OFTEN, the page I am viewing in Chrome dies. (He’s dead, Jim!) This doesn’t happen very often and when it does, just the one page dies and not the whole browser. I then control-Alt-Delete to reboot. Any ideas on why this happens and how to cure?Found this one http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?answer=1270364(SORRY for a bump) Chrome is designed to run each TAB's memory seperately, I.E. I could have a very memory intensive game open (Backyard Monsters on Facebook is a decent example, the Flash player is what skyrockets in memory USAGE...) and that tab would be the only slow one, the others would be fine. If you want to get those tabs back and have a quick list of all tabs you've closed, TRY Sexy Undo Tab. I'm up to 4000 closed tabs (most are Facebook, Youtube, and various forums) |
