Answer» Using VLC I got this message - Codee Error: use Windows Media Player. But Windows Media Player can not play it at all. Not even the error message. At least VLC starts up and SOWS the message.
But It looks like the message is really in the AVI movie I want to watch. The movie trailer works alright. But the full LENGTH version starts with the error message and then quits. There is normal SOUND and video and then eater a few seconds it quits. This has HAPPENED before on a different movie from the same studio. Does anybody now why that message is there?
My workaround was to get the movies from a trusted source. Still, I am curious. Why do they do that?Where are you getting this movie from?It was a torrent.Theres the issue...NO! I'ts a CONSPIRACY! Well, I looked around on Google. Found a site where they think it was a Trojan. Anyway, I DELETED it and ran a scan. Didn't find anything that would explain what really happened.
