so i want to install comodo firewall for my computer it is xp professional 32
so i downloaded the file from the main site and opened up the thing it started the install process, asked me to accept the licsence, and then it asked me where to install it too: i chose the default and clicked next. the firewall installer disapears from my screen. i go "ok" and wait for about 5 min... nothing happened. so i try again, this time i try a diferent area to install it to, it disapears i wait five min, nothing happens again
i restart the computer and try it again you guessed it nothing happens

does anyone have any ideas for me or a different place to downlaod the thing from? thanks muchMaybe bad download?ill try again

went there, clicked the link under 32bit setup (first link)

downloaded it

opened it up

"incase you have 3rd party personal firewall installed please uninstall it before continuing, would you LIKE to continue?"

clicked yes

clicked next

destination FOLDER
chose C:\Program Files\COMODO\Firewall

hit next

it closed immediatly....yay.... yeah, so same problem. i also tried download.com and softpedia and got the same thingDid you turn Windows firewall off, before install?yes i did

i still am not able to install the firewall, but i was able to install comodo firewall 2.4 so i have that nowStrange...do you have SP2 installed?AHA !yes i do i have service pack 2 installedDo you have a filter installed?

by connection do you mean internet connection?
