Answer» My PC turns on and the fan and lights comes on, but it doesnt boot up and shows a blank screen..What do you think is the problem of my computer???What is new or different since the last time everything worked PROPERLY (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, ETC)? EXACTLY how far does the boot process go (does ANYTHING APPEAR on the screen or is it completely blank)? If nothing at all appears, CHECK the connections to the display or try a different display.As Allan MENTIONED, your monitor might be the problem. If your monitor has gone bad, your computer might be booting up but you think it's not because your monitor appears blank. I recently encountered this situation. I switched monitors and that immediately confirmed that the problem was the original monitor.
