Answer» i was wondering if any one had a better idea of what to do. I use my U3 drive for school work and home use. I have Microsoft works WORD processor. The school has Microsoft word. When i save a file in Microsoft works and i try to open it at school it won't. I have to COPY and paste it in either wordpad or notepad on my home computer in order to get it to open on the school's computer.I have Microsoft windows XP Media Center and the school has Microsoft windows professional 2000 i believe. But what version of Works ? ? Have you tried saving the Works docs as Word files ? ?I'm not to sure what version. How do you save them as word files? In the Save as window there should be a drop down list with a few choices...
