Answer» Hello,
I pulled 2 30GB hard drives out of some bad IMACS and PUT them in my Windows XP computer. The problem is I can only make them dynamic disks. I want them to be basic, primary disks so if I EVER format my Windows partiton, I won't lose anything on the dynamic disks. I have tried using the disk management tool in Windows XP, and I tried using disk management through the command prompt also, but they will only recognize as dynamic disks. They have both been formatted through disk management as dynamic.I figured it out. I can't believe how easy it was to fix now. I think Windows couldn't see or delete the MAC partition. So Windows was forcing them to be dynamic. I just zero filled the drives and they work! Yay!
