Answer» hi everyone.... ... http://www.h264info.com/h264.html Explains what it is http://www.amazon.com/Blackmagic-Design-H-264-Format-Recorder/dp/B001F8LIKM (Much too expensive.) http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Converter.aspx Do NOT buy this product. Just test it. Rezan, more than likely you are having a problem because of copyright protections. You didn't say what you were recording, but if was off pay per view or even something like HBO, a lot of that has copyright protection. rthompson80819 : im working in a hospital . we bought the dvr device from a company, we are recording surgerys . we had liver transplant surgery so we wanted to record the operation.so we recorded few test videos but cant play them back on pc,spoke with the company staff who CAME to connect the dvr machine with the operation device he said this dvr machine is new model ,till now we dont have enough info how to play videos back on pc.....
