thanks but im STILL unsure how to do it ?

can i download free software that allows me to do it ?

I believe I used a program called FlaskMpeg. Can't really remember.

The other solution is if you have a Soundblaster card installed is to SET up the recorder to record "what you hear" (It is an actual setting). You play your mpeg and hit record. Be SURE to do nothing else on your computer as it will record all beeps and WHISTLES. I believe that turns it into a .WAV file from there there are a large number of mp3 encoders to choose from.
