Solve : coping dvd?

Answer»

I hooked up my ps2 via usb to my computer to COPY
a dvd and nothing happened. does any one know
how to make this work? Are there ABNY drivers that you need to install? What operating system is this?

[glb]Flame[/glb]I don't know if i have to load any drivers or not.
I am running XP pro. When you say "ps2" are you referring to a Play Station?

If so I would suggest the XP by default cannot read a Play Station. You would need to SEARCH SONY or the web for XP drivers that would allow it to read a Play Station.

I've never heard of anyone hooking their PS2 up to a computer. If you want to copy the dvd then why not just do it with the computer itself?I have tried using just the computer but haven't
figured it out either. Do I have to have 2 dvd
burners to do this. I have a cdrom and dvd burner.
Is there a way to copy the dvd to the computer hard
drive and then burn to dvd?You should be able to put your DVD into the drive, copy to a temp directory then put the BLANK DVD in and copy to disk.Sorry, meant to modify above. If you're going to copy a movie then it won't work as you have to do some compression stuff before it will fit to a burnable DVD disk.Do you know what kind of compression and how i
would do that? This will work: http://www.nero.com/us/index.html
Does not copy DVD's with copy protection.I recommend a search of the CH forums for more on this topic. It's been answered a dozen times before.
