My new toshiba satelitte with windows XP freezes when I try to paste in Word or M. Outlook while copying from another doc. I have to C,A,Delete to progress and of COURSE lose any unsaved stuff. I am a newbie. Thank you.
Tomtoddy. Tomtoddy..... If it's a new machine , take it back and let the DEALER sort out the problem .
dl65 thanks dl65. I should have said that it is not possible to do that. I was hoping it MAY be a straightforward software problem.
tomtoddyNew and not willing or not able to use WARRANTY service? I can't imagine that. Are you willing to share the details? Toshiba's have great warranty service. If it's new and you are having hardware problems it is not LIKELY to get better. If it is software even Microsoft will not help you, only Toshiba as they are the OEM vendor.
