Solve : corrupt or invalid?

whenever I go to install a program or update one, I frequently get the below MESSAGE
The signature  is corrupt or invalid.  For example, when I go to Auslogics DISK defrag, I go to the Help TAB and check for updates and there is one,but when I press Get Update, I get the message:  the signature of disk-defrag.setup.exe is corrupt or invalid.

Went to TASK Manager and went through each tab but saw NOTHING about BIOS.   How do I find the BIOS time?    Thanks much.  Anna Ruth
