When I'm in EXCEL the cursor keeps moving all they way to colum a and in word it just randomly moves all the way to the left. It happens both when i'm not doing something or when i'm typing. All of a sudden half of the word will be where I want it and then I notice that i'm back at the begining of the line

Is there anyway to fix this

2. Did any liquid get near the keyboard?

Just covering the obvious to start.I thought it was the keyboard at first but I still had the PROBLEM when the keyboard was unhooked from the computer.1. Is this a USB keyboard?
1a. If not, you did shut down before unplugging, right?No I was trying to avoid restaring my computer since i'm not very patient and didn't want to wait for it to start up. I jsut restarted it and i'm no longer having any problem with this THANK you for your help

That's pretty impatient, if you have time to post a note in a forum, but not a reboot.
