I have a avi movie that is 8 mins LONG and i WISH to cut it down, cut 4 mins off the end. i Have tried soem software but none seems to work for me, can any one suggest any software that is free that is easy to use???i use easy video SPLITTER. it is not free but it gives a trial. you can alos use windows movie maker to cut it down.nath22........ You didn't mention if your trying to burn the movie as a vdc or a dvd ........ In Any event ...there are several THINGS you can try.
If its a DVD your using ..... ( 4.7GB ) try using NeroVision Express to encode and burn ........ ( Nero will tell you that the content is too large to fit and then offer to reduce the quality so it will fit ) or , you could do as "yesterday" has suggested and use Easy Video Splitter or use AVI/Divx to DVD , SVCD or VCD converter and simply set the app to split the complete unclipped version into 2 parts . Nero also has the ability to allow you to clip the original movie file .
