Solve : Default Line Spacing in Publisher 07? |
|
Answer» I have a very large Publisher document. A few months back, I changed the default font, but the line spacing also changed, even though I did not change it. I cannot figure out how to change the line spacing of the entire document! So since then I change the line spacing one page at a time as I am working on it. Very time consuming! What type of document are you working on?Quote from: Shalomgal on April 08, 2009, 08:49:46 AM I am writing a booklet. "Booklet" isn't one of the "Publication Types" listed in Publisher. Below is a partial list of what appears on the LEFT SIDE of a newly opened Publisher window. So, again, exactly what type of template are you using for your booklet?Sorry, I didn't understand the question. I am not using any template. Simply 8.5 X 11 single pages. Quote from: Shalomgal on April 08, 2009, 09:42:48 AM I am not using any template. Simply 8.5 X 11 single pages. I believe that means you would select "Blank Page Sizes", under Publication Types, and then select the 8.5 x 11 SIZE if you were starting a new document. Anyway, I believe the solution may be to create a Style or modify an existing Style to set line spacing at 2 lines. Then, by applying that Style to your document, I believe the selected spacing will be applied to the whole document. Styles can be saved and applied to new documents. That's really all I can suggest. Since I really haven't used Publisher much, I don't think I can be of more assistance. But, Styles appears to be work the same in Publisher as in Word, and I believe using Styles may be a solution for you. Thanks for helping. I appreciate it. |
