Answer» I am running Windows XP, Home Edition, Version 2002, Service PACK 3; Microsoft Office Word 2007.
I am not ABLE to DELETE a line drawing, a shape, inserted Insert/Illustrations/Shapes/Recently Used Shapes.
In my effort to do so, I select the drawing, which is enclosed in a rectangle with a blue dot at each corner. There is an ANCHOR in the margin. After hitting "delete," the anchor and the blue dots disappear. The drawing, however, is content to remain on the page.
How can I delete the drawing?
Please and thank you,
Oompahpap
Try this.Close the open project and start a new one. If you have the same problem with the new document than my advice to you is to reinstall your Office. If you don't have the problem with the new document than the document you wan't to delete the line drawing is damaged. After selecting the "object" you wish to remove, see if using Edit \ Clear will work.
