Answer» When trying to play the Sims 3 my computer displays an error saying my video card does not support Shader 2 or higher. Please update my card. I had a similar error occur on my other computer and it was easily fixed by Dell INSTALLING a new driver [[my ialrm display stopped responding..something I forgot the exact error.]] I figured I can fix it on this computer by installing a newer driver. However, when I try to runt the app to install it I'm GREETED by "Cannot install application. The application is missing required files. CONTACT application VENDOR for assistance." I TRIED chat with Dell but my computer's service tag cannot be found. Does anyone know what else I can do? ThanksssWhat is the make and model of your computer. Also I have doubts this will help if your onboard graphics fails to meet the requirements of the game.
