Every time I PUT in a flash drive in any port, the desktop icons align them selves to to left side of the screen, even when I have unticked the align in the arranged toolbar box. Have even tried to "Lock web items on Desktop", but STILL align when a flash drive in plugged in. I have tried a nuber of flash DRIVES and it still happens. Any ideas would be grateful. OjasThat is really wierd. I have no idea what this COULD be besides a VIRUS. Please follow these instructions and post your logs in the virus/malware section of this forum.What happens if just ''show desktop icons'' is ticked and nothing else at all - in other words they are not grid or position controlled (in theory!).
